We offer a two year/six semester accelerated program covering all aspects of audio engineering and production.
All classes are taught a BRC Audio's professional recording complex by professional engineers and musicians
with degrees in the field of study.

Areas of focus include:

Acoustic and electrical theory as it pertains to audio engineering
Microphones and mic placement techniques
Signal flow of a professional analog console
Operation of a stand-alone multitrack recorder
Mic Preamps, Dynamics and Effects processors
Tracking and mixing in different studio environments
Recording session preparation and procedures
Techniques and philosophy of Mastering audio
Music production in the recording studio
Music Fundamentals and Theory for engineers
MIDI music production using Logic, Digital Performer, and Garage Band
Recording, Mixing, and Mastering using Pro Tools
Studio Business practices and management
Live Sound Reinforcement
Audio for Video and Film
Remote Location Recording

Each student participates in a minimum of 30 recording sessions during their schooling,
six of which they are the head engineer.
